At Home Dialysis

At United Renal Services, we specialize in providing compassionate care and innovative technology through at home dialysis machines to improve the lives of patients with kidney disease. With Home Hemodialysis, a machine is used to filter the blood and remove waste, just like in-center hemodialysis, but in the comfort of your home. Experience the freedom of scheduling treatments according to your convenience, eliminating the need for time-consuming trips to the dialysis center.

Dialyzing in the familiar surroundings of your own home creates a relaxing atmosphere, allowing you to unwind and have loved ones nearby for support. Rest assured, your safety is our top priority, with strict infection control measures in place. Our team is available 24/7 to offer continuous support and answer any questions. Living With Kidney Disease

Living with kidney disease can be challenging and requires significant adjustments to one's lifestyle. Kidney disease refers to a condition where the kidneys are unable to filter waste and excess fluids from the blood, leading to a buildup of toxins in the body.

In the face of a kidney disease diagnosis, let us help you to come back strong! At United Renal Services, we stand alongside you, empowering and supporting you throughout! From tailored treatment plans to compassionate care, we embark on a transformative path where hope shines bright, dreams are pursued, and the warrior within emerges, ready to conquer any challenge. Let us be your trusted companion through at home dialysis, providing the resources, expertise, and unwavering support you need to embrace life fully and rewrite the narrative of kidney disease.

    United Renal's Comprehensive Home Hemodialysis

Home hemodialysis (HHD) is an alternative to in-center dialysis. For patients and caregivers, United Renal Services provides training and support in at home dialysis through its centers.

    Home Hemodialysis
Our innovative mobile at home dialysis machine through Tablo allows patients to access treatment facilities from the comfort of their own space, on their own schedule, with real-time monitoring and support from our healthcare professionals. Patients will be linked to the device, much like with in-center dialysis, via your dialysis access. The device will filter your blood via a dialyzer to remove toxins, waste, and extra fluid before returning clean blood to you.
    In-Center Training on Hemodialysis
We provide a state-of-the-art dedicated dialysis training center, where patients undergo treatments and training before going home with our at home dialysis machines. Most patients are able to learn all activities to start using our at home dialysis machines in less than 4 training sessions, and can solve an alarm in 5 seconds or less.
    Support Services
Various support services are available for patients with kidney disease, including dietary counseling and others.

    Insurance Options

When it comes to managing the costs of medical care, having appropriate insurance coverage is crucial. Insurance options for dialysis provide individuals with access to necessary treatments while alleviating the financial burden. These options include private health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, employer-sponsored plans, and Veterans Affairs benefits.

Private health insurance plans offer coverage for dialysis treatment, although specifics may vary. Medicare, a federal program, typically covers dialysis for those with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Medicaid, a state and federal program, provides coverage for low-income individuals, with details varying by state. For veterans, the Department of Veterans Affairs offers benefits that can cover dialysis treatment. However, it is essential to contact local VA offices for precise information. Each insurance plan may have specific requirements, such as pre-authorization or preferred provider networks.

Medicare-eligible patients living with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) have more Medicare options. At U.S. Renal Care, we care about you and want you to have the best healthcare coverage for your needs.
